Childhood Friend of The Zenith Chapter 1 Suddenly, for unknown reasons, I was in the middle of a busy marketplace. I looked up at the sky slowly. I squinted at the sight of a sun shining through a cloudless sky.
My eyes couldn’t handle the sun’s brilliance, which I hadn’t seen in a long time. Looking around, I saw a throng of town residents moving between stalls and the numerous street sellers trying to attract the attention of passersby.
The aroma of steaming dumplings permeated the air, and the stalls were full with steam as the chefs prepared food for their patrons. The shouting retailers, attempting to boost their revenue,
and the enthusiastic murmurs of the surrounding throng became more audible as they merged together. My childhood recollections tell me that man is probably my escort.
Speaking of childhood recollections, I think I had sneaked out to the busy marketplace on the day I had met the child.
When I was much younger, I used to live in an area with a very comparable marketplace.
