Emmy Awards 2024: Winners List (Updating Live)

Emmy Awards 2024: Winners List (Updating Live)… So far, ‘The Bear’ and ‘Baby Reindeer’ have each won four times, but ‘Shogun’ has only won once.

On Sunday night, the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented. Thus far, the Bear has garnered four victories. Three cast members of the show have won awards:

Ebon Moss-Bachrach for best supporting actor, Liza Colón-Zayas for best supporting actress (becoming the first Latina to win in this category), and Jeremy Allen White for best lead actor in a comedy series.

For the show, Christopher Storer took home the best directing award for a comedy series. The Bear surpassed its own record from the previous year, when it won 10, to set a new record for the most wins in a single season for a comedy with its total of 11 Emmys in 2024.

Four awards were won by Baby Reindeer, including best limited or anthology series. Richard Gadd won the writing Emmy in the same category and was named best actor in a limited or anthology series or film.

The 76th annual celebrations, which are being broadcast live on ABC from L.A.’s Peacock Theater, are hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy. In the past, the father-son team expressed their desire to approach their hosting role with more tact.

In a recent interview, Eugene remarked, “Just paying tribute to television—certainly the nominees, but to the medium that gave us both our starts.”

Jokes that make fun of those who are nominated usually make me laugh because, honestly, it’s their night and they’ve worked so hard to get there; you also have to appreciate the awards event itself. Why are we here if not?.

Last week, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Emmys producing team reiterated that sentiment.

“I think everyone really connected to the nostalgia, but the 75th Emmys really gave us this opportunity to celebrate TV,” says Dionne Harmon.

“Sometimes with awards shows, there’s a little bit of a mean-spiritedness or inside baseball.”

We want to showcase characters that you have come to love over the years—your favorite villains, coaches, police officers, or TV moms—all united on stage for one event. Thus, you’ll experience that reminiscence in a fresh way.

A week after the Creative Arts Emmys, the Primetime Emmys will be presented. View the winners from Nights 1 and 2.

Shogun was the front-runner in the categories going into the ceremony and had won 14 awards in the previous week’s Creative Arts ceremonies.
